چکیده | ||
In today's era, agriculture without the use of agricultural machinery is almost impossible. One of the main issues with agricultural machinery is the vibrations and poor ergonomic conditions for the operator. In self-propelled agricultural machines, the seat serves as the primary interface between the machine’s mechanical system and the human musculoskeletal system. The objective of this research is to design and manufacture an ergonomic seat for the existing combines in Iran. The results showed that the most common muscular injuries in these drivers affected the neck (58.18%), lower back (56.36%), and shoulders (36.36%). The most frequent skeletal injuries were observed in the lower back (56.36%), neck (43.64%), and knees (36.36%) (Each individual factor is calculated from 100 percent.). In this study, a questionnaire-based method was used to analyze musculoskeletal issues among operators. Based on the analysis and identification of injuries, an ergonomic seat was designed according to ISO 5353 / INSO 13140 standards in the SolidWorks 2025 environment. The design and construction of the seat were carried out for straw chopper combines of Drogar Kurdistan Company. Notably, this study is among the first to use Iranian anthropometric data specifically for combine harvester operators, contributing unique localized insights to ergonomic seat design. However, this design has not yet undergone biomechanical validation such as finite element analysis (FEA), vibration modeling, or real-user testing, which limits its current applicability. | ||
